Gripperrods now offers a range of spray adhesives for virtually every application following the recent launch of a contact spray adhesive specially developed for upstands, covings and cappings. The new product joins Gripperrods’ well established multi-purpose spray adhesive and vinyl spray adhesive.
The highly competitively priced new contact spray adhesive is already making an impact in the sector. This has been boosted by an increasing trend in the hospitality industry to apply carpet upstands to the walls. “Corridor carpet in hotel chains in particular is being increasingly installed with upstands. This is in addition to the traditional use of upstands, covings and cappings as the specified means of finishing vinyl and other resilient floorcovering installations in the health, recreation and food sectors,” said Frank Jones, commercial manager for accessories at Interfloor. “This trend is a major boost for contact spray adhesive which is ideal for this type of installation.”
Tub Adhesives
Gripperrods comprehensive range of floorcoverings adhesives in tubs is enjoying international success. The seven adhesives – multi-purpose, standard multi-purpose, fast grab multi-purpose, tackifier, acrylic hp, supertack and latex – are all manufactured in the UK.
