Interfloor meets consumers’ demands

Interfloor, the market leading UK manufacturer of underlays for all floor coverings installations throughout the home, has re-launched three of its biggest selling products.

Duralay System Ten, Duralay Treadmore and Duralay Super Mark 111, three of the most environmentally friendly and toughest underlays available, come under the new ‘Tough by Nature’ banner to reinforce their ‘green’ and hard wearing credentials. Each is made from top grade crumb rubber taken from the over 2.5 million car tyres which Interfloor recycles each year in the UK.

The launch follows Interfloor consumer research which showed consumers increasingly demanding environmentally-friendly products that are hard wearing and durable.

“Duralay System Ten, Duralay Treadmore and Duralay Super Mark 111 are recycled products, tough and durable, which consumers say is increasingly important to them,” said Interfloor marketing director Steve Woodhead.

Interfloor is ahead in innovation with a portfolio of underlays for all domestic floor coverings installations. These include Duralay Paramount, an environmentally friendly, high performance crumb felt underlay sourced from recycled materials, with outstanding durability and enhanced underfoot comfort and eco-friendly credentials.

Also, Tredaire Colours, a range of three flat profile sponge underlays, all coloured for maximum consumer appeal, for all areas of the home.

For wood and laminate floors, Interfloor has the Duralay Timbermate Collection, a highly innovative range of three underlays with advanced noise reducing benefits.

And for floors with underfloor heating, Interfloor has Duralay Heatflow carpet underlay for domestic use and Duralay Heatflow wood and laminate underlay, both with reduced thermal resistance to improve the rate of heat to flow into the room, giving a boost to energy saving.
